Engineering Team Leader

Recruitment Solutions are seeking to recruit a highly experienced Engineering Team Leader to work with and oversee on ground employees working in Commercial and Industrial environments.

For this role it is essential to have an excellent working knowledge of use of PPE and Health & Safety Law as some of the environments are classed as hazardous. You must a fully qualified and experience practising Electrician who also possesses excellent team leadership.

Due to the locations and hours or work the ability to work away from home with overnight stays is essential.

Our client’s main objective is finding the right person for this Team Leader role, so all salary negotiations will take place during the interview process and depend on qualification and relevant experience.

Candidates must be qualified to the following level:

· Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation (AM3 qualified)

· City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in initial and periodic inspection, testing of electrical installations (C&G 2391/2394/2395).

· Level 3 Requirement for Electrical Installations (BS7671:2018 Amendment 2 2022) (knowledge and familiarity of current IET Wiring Regulations).

· City & Guild NA7232-(5) – Competence in the Installation and Testing of Electrotechnical Systems.

The candidate must be experience in Commercial/Industrial Electrical Installation and Maintenance including, but not limited to:

· Installation of single and three-phase distribution boards and switchgear.

· Installation of steel tray and containment systems (suspended and wall mounted).

· Approved cable installation, including installation of wire singles, twin and earth, fire-proof (FP) cables and steel wired armoured cables of varying diameters.

· Floor-mounting and wall-mounting cabinet/panel mechanical installation.

· Understanding of earthing requirement in electrical installations.

· Inspection, testing and certification of domestic, commercial, and industrial installations to BS7671:2018 (Amendment 2 2022).

· Candidates will have served 3- 5 years as a practising electrician preferably in the commercial/industrial sectors.
